I am having a really hard time imagining how the approximately five hundred plot threads, not to mention character threads, can be wrapped up in two episodes.

Also, I just wanted to say: "On the LAM!" Hee!

Speculation and list of outstanding plot threads below cut. Spoil me for the last two episodes and die.

1. The bus crash: who did it, why, how, were the people who died the people who were meant to die, and was it meant for the bus or the limo?

I am leaning toward Woody, mostly because "Kendall"/the Fitzpatricks seem too obvious. (What a great surprise the depth of Kendall's duplicity was!) I mean, they may have been involved, but as tools rather than as the prime villain. For why, my guess is Woody sexually abused one of the boys on the bus, or perhaps Meg, and was trying to cover it up because they were threatening to go public and ruin his career.

Con: why would he need such an elaborate plot and kill others too? Did he even have any contact with Meg? Pro: If he was the father of Meg's baby, that would explain Veronica's chlamydia (poor Veronica!), which passed from him to Meg to Duncan to Veronica.

Outstanding puzzling elements: The rat (probably to force the rich kids off the bus.) Veronica's name on the dead man's hand.

The stalker videos of Woody could be someone else he abused trying to blackmail him, or the original kid plus a bereaved friend.

2. Beaver Casablancas and his mysterious scheme and mysterious weirdness with Mac. No idea, really. I don't see how this could tie into the bus crash-- I mean, it would be neat if it did, I'm just not seeing how.

3. The roofie rapist. I'm guessing this is a teaser for next season.

Did I miss anything else outstanding?

Veronica and Keith had some awesome moments. Good on Veronica for finally getting to save her Dad.

I wonder if Logan had been roofied during his weird speech to Veronica at the Not-A-Prom. He seemed pretty odd, and also sincere the next morning when he claimed not to remember anything. Could Kendall have set him up to screw with Veronica in revenge? (Not that I would put it past Logan to cheat.)

The Not-A-Prom was wonderful, and Mac's date's speech on embracing his weirdness was classic. Wallace and Jackie are a hot and sweet couple, though for dramatic purposes there is not enough conflict in their relationship. After all they've both been through, they do seem a good match: level-headed, able to communicate, mature-- and yet that makes them less interesting together than the more screwed-up couples on the show.
